How to become a research resident:

  • You are interested to work with Detroit and its many trajectories and histories from an industrial boomtown to a shrinking community to America`s most diverse and creative communities applying resilient ideas of what it means to be a citizens and work and life in a community that has such a rich history and yet is described and researched upon as an urban phenomena.

  • You are independent, self-organized and ready to change your perspective and immerse and move in different cultural settings? Please provide a letter of interest with a CV and your motivation why and for what reason you plan to do research in Detroit.

  • The residency operates from April until end of October.

  • Interested in a residency over the period of 2 weeks up to two month?
